Appearance
Vermouth with an intense mahogany colour, with abundant orange reflections.
Aroma
This Madeira wine-based vermouth with infusions of regional herbs and spices has a unique and irresistible aromatic complexity. Rich and intense, it presents us with sweet aromas of vanilla and chocolate, as well as subtle touches of aromatic herbs reminiscent of anise/fennel and spices of vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. It reveals on the nose the sweetness found in the mouth, reminiscent of the traditional Madeiran honey cake with all its density, depth and richness in notes of cane honey, dried fruits (figs and raisins) and spices.
Flavor
Sweet on the palate with a velvety texture, it reveals generous roasting flavors given by cane honey/molasses, chocolate, toffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, and aromatic herbs. It ends correctly and balanced with delicious retro nasal notes of figs, raisins and spices.
